I saw this over at Diversions of the Groovy Kind: Groove's Faves: 100-Page Super Spectacular DC-14 and a Happy New Year! about DC's 100-Page Super Spectacular that was released in 1972. I had to share it here with you so you can read the pages here or go to Diversions of the Groovy Kind at the link above.

In the early 70's when DC comics started publishing the original Captain Marvel again. Some readers were debating on if he was better then Superman. Of course this was an old debate as it was going on when Fawcett was publishing the Captain's adventures. This letterhead is from a 1974 issue of Superman.

Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane 1967

By the time 1967 rolled around Lana Lang was an important character in many of the Superman titles. Espically in Lois Lane's book. She was so important that for a time they used the above letterhead on the letters page. I have always wondered why Lana Lang never got her own series.

The Adventures of Jerry Lewis 1970

Comedian Jerry Lewis had a long running comic book. In each issue there was a long letter from Jerry to his readers. At least it looked like it was from Jerry. For all I know it could have been written by that issues editor.

This is what the letter page letterhead looked like for Batman in 1976. However, the white part is where I whited out the top part of a letter that was there and was not part of the letterhead.

This one is from Superman #301. They had a lot of letters for that issue and used an additional page for them.

Who says only the heroes get to be stars? In 1975 The Joker got to star in his own series. It was a short run but a fun book to read. Here is what the text pages looked liked before the letters came in.

Brave and the Bold #106 Short Letters Page:DC 1973

They didn't have much space for a letters page in Brave and the Bold #106. Still they did their best to answer some readers questions. This was at the bottom of the last page of that issue. This may be the shortest letters page ever.
